Lauren Grega
Lauren Grega is a 21-year-old alternative process and analog photographer from Rockwall, Texas, currently based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. She is a senior at the University of North Texas, where she is completing her undergraduate degree and cultivating both her studio practice and her growing interest in museum studies.
Growing up in a digital age, Lauren first experienced the world through images—small portals into the beauty, tenderness, and complexity of everyday life. That early fascination evolved into a practice rooted in gratitude, careful observation, and an emotional connection to light and composition. Working with alternative techniques, she brings a tactile, intimate quality to her work, blending intuitive feeling with meticulous technical craft.
Her imagery often explores themes of softness, domesticity, memory, and the quiet warmth of human experience. Through her hands-on process and analog approach, she creates work that invites viewers to slow down, look closely, and rediscover the subtle narratives found in ordinary moments.
Alongside her photographic practice, Lauren is passionate about the world of museums and galleries—spaces where preservation, education, and public connection intersect. She aims to continue her path into museum studies, hoping to contribute to environments where art serves as a resource for reflection, care, and shared understanding.
She continues to build a body of work dedicated to celebrating the gentle beauty of life—encouraging others to feel deeply, notice more, and experience the world with renewed wonder.
